Private Alpha

Privacy

A plain-language account of what Actors Recall stores, who can access it and how to ask for help with your data.

Your career record

Actors Recall stores your account and profile information, audition, project, role, development and casting history, wider Career records, Role Intelligence you choose to add, and import and provenance information used to preserve the history of your record.

Your record is isolated from other actors through authenticated, actor-private access controls. Private does not mean technically inaccessible to Actors Recall: authorised operators and database administrators may access account and career information when needed for support, security, maintenance and operation.

Services that process data

Supabase
Authentication and the application database.
Vercel
Application hosting and server-side processing.
Resend
Delivery of feedback notifications to the product owner.

Limited Private Alpha usage information

During Private Alpha, Actors Recall records limited, identified usage information to understand whether broad feature areas are being used and where actors encounter friction. This can include the feature area, selected actions such as creating or editing an audition, a timestamp, the application build and the associated account.

The Actors Recall telemetry ledger does not store:

  • project titles or role names
  • casting people, casting offices or audition notes
  • spreadsheet contents or raw URLs
  • IP addresses, location or browser/device fingerprints

Each telemetry event receives a 180-day expiry. Physical cleanup is currently operated manually, so an expired event may remain stored until the next owner-run purge rather than being deleted at the exact moment it reaches 180 days.

Feedback

Feedback is associated with your actor account and includes the application page and build version. It is visible to the product owner and may be sent through Resend as a notification. The owner may add a private triage category, status or internal note without changing your original message.

Feedback is currently retained for the duration of Private Alpha unless it is removed through an owner-handled request or process.

Archive is not deletion

Archiving an audition removes it from the normal Auditions view. It does not permanently delete the audition or its historical developments.

Export, deletion and privacy help

You can download a portable Career record export from Settings. It includes your actor-owned career history, but is not a complete privacy or account-data archive. To request a broader copy of your data, account and data deletion, or privacy help, sign in and use Give feedback from the account menu. This channel is stored and monitored. State clearly that your message is a privacy, export or deletion request.

If you cannot sign in, contact the person who sent your Private Alpha invitation so the request can be passed to the Actors Recall owner. Identity will be verified before an export or deletion is handled.
